Little Princess Cheyenne Nunes with her cute dimples and charming personality is Contestant # 1 in the Little Miss St. Martin Pageant.
She is 9 years old and attends the Sister Borgia School. She loves to sing, model, and dance. Her favorite subject is spelling. Cheyenne is inviting everyone to come out and support her and her fellow contestants on the day of the pageant. She is especially encouraging her Down Street and Cole Bay families and friends to come out and shout for her with all their hearts. Cheyenne said with confidence "I know my mom, dad, and especially my grandmothers and family members are coming out in full force." This will be her motivation to capture the Little Miss St. Martin Crown 2012.

"What is so heart warming for me, Cheyenne's Chaperone is former Miss Teen Carnival Queen 2009, Bria Sorton and assisted by Rosa Letgordet. In 2009, I was the Pageant Director of this event and too see Bria Sorton now passing on her Pageant skills and knowledge to Cheyenne makes me very proud," stated Pageant Director of the Little Miss St. Martin, Ms. Nzinga Lake .
"I am asking the business community to please support the contestants through sponsorship, I know these are hard economic times but with your support this will be a direct reflection of the generosity of the St. Maarten/St. Martin business community.
"Just to take that step at a very young age to showcase their talent and aspirations should be admired. At that age, some of us were shy and scared and to see the girls being so brave I am so honored to be in their presence. The contestants are between the ages of 8 to 11yrs," stated Ms. Nzinga Lake.

The Little Miss St. Martin Pageant is designed to inspire leadership qualities, promote commitment to community, encourages academic excellence while being graceful ambassadors ot their schools, neighborhoods and St.Martin. The Pageant is using the original name of our island.
