After a devastating fire destroyed his home, Henry Dennis, along with his wife and five children, ages 6, 11, 18 and 16, escaped with all that now remains of their former lives; their government issued documents. With nowhere to go, Henry moved his family into Flamingo Beach Resort, a Diamond Resorts International® property, where he has been a houseman for the past 12 years. The resort served as a temporary sanctuary while Dennis tried to rebuild that which was lost. The surrounding community offered assistance in raising funds to aid with the rehabilitation, but with no stable home, the family struggled to put the pieces of their lives back together.

Now, more than two months after the fire laid waste to all they owned, The Dennis family, with the aid of Mr. Cloobeck, has been able to move out of Flamingo Beach Resort and move into a very spacious four bedroom apartment.
