Here is an update concerning the fight against parking on Great Bay Beach.
On Friday nights they have a DJ at the WPS (Walter Planz Square) and as a result the security allows and orchestrates parking on the beach. Last night (Friday night) I had to rope off the entrance part behind our Ocean's building because last week the cars parked right up to our gate. I called the police but that was a waste of time. Apparently the police asked a neighbor who put up the rope with sheet strips hanging from it and the neighbors told them it was me. That was that. No further action or investigation. I have written the police about 5 letters also concerning this and have not received not ONE reply.
They have also put up a chain link fence at the end of the ally. This is all illegal and I am writing another letter to Minister Meyers concerning this development.
The Ombudsman is following up on the existing complaint and I shall send copies of the letter to Minister Meyers to them as well.
