Students Caught with a Knife

St. Peters:--- Two students of the St. Maarten Academy was taken to the Philipsburg Police Station yesterday after they were caught with a long kitchen knife. According to police they responded to call stating that a fight was taking place in the area of the school but by the time the patrol reached they did not see any fights going on.

The patrols being cautious noticed a group of boys standing and one of them were acting suspiciously. The officers approached the youth and discovered a large kitchen knife hidden behind the wall where he was standing. The young man identified as C.H and his friend M.A who was also standing next to him could not give police a proper explanation about the weapon. They were both taken to the Philipsburg Police Station where they were reprimanded prior to being released.
