GREAT BAY:--- (DCOMM) – The Fire Department is reiterating the message from the Meteorological Department of St. Maarten (MDS) issued in their flood advisory, that motorists and persons living low-lyinging areas, should remain vigilant due to possible street flooding and localized flooding.
Motorists are advised to drive with caution low-lying areas; those residing in hillside communities are advised to look out for rock-falls.
The MDS flood advisory issued at 10.45am in effect for the next 12 hours.
The conditions according to MDS is due to a tropical wave in the area.
