Wiillemstad:--- On 28 Jan 2015, 25 volunteers from the U.S. Forward Operating Location (USFOL) partnered with volunteers and staff from Richardus Huis for a concentrated revitalization effort. The team spent an afternoon applying a new coat of paint to the building exterior, removing debris and trash from the grounds, and improving the outdoor landscape.
Richardus Huis is a non-profit home for the elderly focused on supporting men in need of full-time assistance. USFOL outreach programs such as these demonstrate their continued eagerness to be involved with communities in Curaçao that have welcomed them to the island.
