PHILIPSBURG:--- Press Prosecutor Tineke Kamps said in a press release that on Friday November 28, 2014, that the RST carried out house searches on two locations in Sint Maarten; a house of the 54-years old F.C. in Porto Cupecoy and in a company building Atlantis Casino in Maho. The casino hosts a couple of companies from F.C. and the 48-years old R.B. A judge of instruction led the house searches.
The house searches took place following a legal request for assistance from the Italian Public Prosecutors Service, district-directorate anti-mafia in an investigation by the Guardia de Finanza (Rome). Therefore, the Public Prosecutors Service in Sint Maarten cannot disclose the content and background of international request for assistance.
