CAY HILL:--- On Saturday May 3rd, 2014, the 3rd International meeting of Saint Martin was held at the Raoul Illidge Sports complex on the Dutch side by Speedy Plus.
During this occasion about fifteen athletes of Avenir Sportif Club de Saint Martin engaged in various sporting events of the day, and they did not prove unworthy.
In the morning, the athletes under 8 years obtained the bronze medal during the tests of Kid Athlé.
In the afternoon, the oldest distinguished themselves with the first place for Teejay JASARON in 100m category minimes in 12 " 76. Anthony SEGUIN and Adelio BROOKS ended respectively 2nd and 3rd on 1000m category minimes in 3 ' 01 " 07 and 3 ' 03 " 81.
To note also the 3rd place of GUICHETJérémy on 1000m category poussins and the bronze medal for TAILLEPIERRE Jessy in the long jump category Chick.
These were promising results for Avenir Sportif Club de Saint Martin who will organize on May 17th its meeting at Albéric Richard stadium of Sandy Ground, and whose several athletes will be committed to the championships of Guadeloupe.
