PHILIPSBURG:--- The Prime Minister of St. Maarten the Honorable Sarah Wescot-Williams expressed condolences to the family and friends of the late Sarah Bernadine Doncher who passed away last week. "It was while I was abroad during a working visit that I received word that Mrs. Bernadine Doncher passed away in Martinique. I was, as I am sure that many in the community, were deeply affected by this great loss. She was a matriarch in the true sense to the community of St. Maarten and I would like to express my most heartfelt condolences to the friends and family, especially from the Doncher, Cannegieter and Arrindell families. I wish those affected by this loss much strength and guidance and know that Mrs. Bernadine left a lasting legacy within our country and within our community," commented Prime Minister Wescot-Williams.
