With over sixty burglaries recorded since the beginning of 2015, the territory of Saint-Martin is
currently recording a significant increase of this phenomenon compared to what is usually observed.
The residential burglaries are the most numerous, particularly in some residential neighborhoods. The
shops also are particularly affected.
To fight against this phenomenon, the gendarmerie is mobilizing a large workforce in surveillance and
investigation.
The gendarmerie also wants to remind people of Saint-Martin what to have good reflexes to prevent burglaries and fight against this phenomenon (basic measures to protect his home, arrangements in cases of lasting absence, rules to follow if you are the victim of a burglary).
