rromeoreceivescompetentcommunicatoraward03062012Philipsburg:--- Toastmasters International announced that Raymond Romeo has achieved the Competent Communicator designation. On March 15th 2012, Raymond completed his tenth project in the Competent Communication Manual. Once the CC has been achieved the Toastmaster then can go on to more advanced projects with 15 manuals to choose from.
Valerie Brazier DTM, District 81 Secretary presented Raymond with his Competent Communicator certificate to recognize this important milestone. Raymond joined Toastmasters on February 17th 2011 and is a valued member of the Philipsburg Toastmasters Club. He sought out this communication and leadership organization because he wanted to further refine his leadership and communication skills. Raymond has served his club on the executive board for the 2011/2012 term as Treasurer.
"Achieving my Competent Communicator award is just the beginning. I see this as a stepping stone towards achieving my Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) Award" said Raymond Romeo.
Toastmasters International has a proven program in leadership and communication that is available for each and every individual who decides to take the initiative and invest in professional development. After all toastmasters are where leaders are made.
The Philipsburg Toastmasters Club meets at the library every first and third Thursdays of every month
from 7:45pm to 9:00pm. I would like to encourage persons to attend a meeting in the very near future so
they can benefit from the Toastmasters experience.
